Do you Travel?
Yes! It's always my favorite to travel to a family farm or a location that means something to you! Not only for the beautiful change in scenery, but when you include things you love in your pictures- it just makes taking them a little bit easier!
My travel fee is .65/mile after 15 miles each direction.
What time of the day is our session?
I highly recommend booking an hour before sunset. The light is the most forgiving and super dreamy at this time!
I will book a few sessions in the early AM, but nothing between 11-3 as the sun is just too bright causing squinty eyes and shadows on faces.
Where do you shoot?
My favorite shooting locations are in grassy fields, creeks, woods and any area that has the perfect light! My favorite spots include, Volga State Park, Klocks Island, Echo Valley State Park, and a few others around the area.
We will work together to pick one of these locations, or any spot of your choosing!!
How many photos do we get?
This greatly depends on the session you book, however most clients receive around 50-100 images, unless otherwise noted (for example, mini sessions.)
How do we get our photos?
After the full editing process, you will receive your photos via email or messages as prior discussed in a downloadable link.
USB upon request and $15 fee.
Do you retouch photos?
Yes! I will retouch basic editing, skin smoothing, fly-aways, objects in the background, ect. However, any major editing will be discussed for a potential upcharge per image.
Whats your turn around time?
My turn around time is 4 weeks- unless agreed upon prior. I want to make sure your album & each picture receives the love and care it deserves!
What should we wear?
My best advice is to compliment, don't matchie match- wear complimentary color tones (example- if blue and white is the color scheme, try and mix in shades of blue, white patterns, and neutral textures) Mix and match patterns with solids (example 1 pattern for every 2 solids).
Don't overthink it, but the most important thing is to avoid neon bright colors or big logos- neutral is best!

Can you help us with planning?
Absolutely, part of my job is helping decide where to take pictures, what time of the day is best, and so forth. Please let me help in this area. Unless you have a specific location in mind, I'll recommend the best locations for the time of day.
Are your sessions posed or candid?
I LOVE both posed and candid moments in our session. We will capture the "Grandma's wall worthy" photo, but we will also have so much fun in our session! We will play games, run around, and catch all of those little moments in between to make the session fun for the kiddos (and you!).
